Welcome to ByteVerse ("Platform"), operated by SpectraVerse Technologies Inc. These Terms govern your use of our application and services.

By accessing ByteVerse, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, you may not use our service.

1. Account Requirements

Eligibility

To use ByteVerse, you must:

• Provide accurate information:
  • Full name
  • State of residence
  • Gender
  • Valid phone number
  • Email address
• Reside in an African country we service
• Comply with all applicable laws and third-party platform terms of service

Account Security

You agree to:

• Keep your password confidential
• Not share your account with others
• Immediately report unauthorized access
• Be solely responsible for all activities under your account

2. Task Completion Rules

• All tasks must be completed exactly as instructed
• Task reset times:
  • Newbie (Free) users: every 3 hours
  • BytePro (premium) users: every 1.5 hours
• Fraudulent submissions are strictly prohibited:
  • Each case will be reviewed individually before action is taken
  • After 3 confirmed fraudulent attempts, your account may be suspended or permanently banned
  • Any confirmed fraud results in forfeiture of related earnings
• We use manual review and AI verification to validate task proofs
• Users must have genuine interest or meet campaign targeting criteria
• Tasks must comply with all third-party platform policies (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)

3. Campaign Policy

• Campaigns automatically complete and pause when the target number of users is reached
• Campaign creators are responsible for ensuring their campaigns comply with:
  • All applicable laws and regulations
  • Third-party platform terms of service
  • Advertising standards and guidelines
• ByteVerse reserves the right to reject, pause, or terminate campaigns that:
  • Violate third-party platform policies
  • Promote illegal activities or harmful content
  • Contain misleading or fraudulent information
  • May damage ByteVerse's reputation or user trust
• Refunds are not provided except where required by law
• Campaign results are not guaranteed and may vary based on user participation

4. Plan Upgrades

• Each plan upgrade includes a 5% service/processing fee applied to its cost
• Upgrade prices vary depending on the selected plan
• Upgraded plans include extra campaign slots, higher earning rates, and exclusive features
• Plan benefits are subject to change with reasonable notice

5. Payments & Earnings

For Users

• Payouts are processed automatically and sometimes manually based on verification
• Minimum withdrawal thresholds apply as specified in the app
• Processing times may vary (typically 24-72 hours)
• Users are responsible for any applicable taxes on earnings
• ByteCoin (BY₵) rewards:
  • Can be redeemed for airtime/data through authorized partners
  • Expire after 30 days of account inactivity
  • Cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Hold no monetary value outside the ByteVerse platform

For Brands & Influencers

• Payments are processed via Paystack (PCI DSS compliant)
• Each campaign creation includes a 5% service/processing fee applied to the campaign cost
• Funds are held in escrow until task verification is complete
• Refunds are not provided for completed and verified tasks
• You are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds for campaign completion
• Campaign fees are non-refundable once tasks begin distribution

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Create multiple accounts or use accounts for fraudulent purposes
• Use automated bots, scripts, or any automated means to access the platform
• Submit falsified, manipulated, or fraudulent task proofs
• Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or circumvent the ByteVerse system
• Share confidential campaign details or proprietary information
• Engage in any activity that violates third-party platform terms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
• Use the platform to promote illegal activities, hate speech, or harmful content
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users or ByteVerse staff
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the platform

7. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts immediately and without prior notice for:

• Violation of these Terms or our policies
• Suspicious, fraudulent, or illegal activity
• Multiple reports of misconduct from other users
• Inactivity beyond 6 consecutive months
• Failure to provide accurate information
• Actions that harm ByteVerse's reputation or operations

Upon termination:

• Your access to the platform will be immediately revoked
• Pending earnings may be forfeited if termination is due to violations
• ByteCoins will expire immediately
• You may not create new accounts without written permission

You may voluntarily delete your account anytime via account settings. Verified completed earnings will be processed according to our standard payment schedule.

8. Intellectual Property

• ByteVerse and all related trademarks, logos, and content are owned by SpectraVerse Technologies Inc.
• You retain ownership of content you submit but grant ByteVerse a license to use, display, and distribute it
• You may not use ByteVerse intellectual property without written permission
• Campaign creators retain rights to their content but must ensure they have proper licenses
• You warrant that submitted content does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights

9. Data Protection & Privacy

Your use of ByteVerse is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains:

• What personal data we collect and why
• How we use, store, and protect your information
• Your rights regarding your personal data
• Our compliance with applicable data protection laws

By using ByteVerse, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Service Modifications

ByteVerse reserves the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or service at any time
• Change pricing, fees, or plan structures with 30 days' notice
• Update platform features and user interface
• Impose usage limits or restrictions as needed

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notifications.

11. Geographic Restrictions

• ByteVerse currently operates in select African countries
• Services may not be available in all regions
• You must use the service from a supported country
• Some features may vary by location due to regulatory requirements
• We reserve the right to expand or restrict service areas without notice

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or agreements published on the platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and ByteVerse regarding your use of the service, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

14. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without ByteVerse's written consent. ByteVerse may assign these Terms or any rights hereunder without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

15. Waiver

No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term. ByteVerse's failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of changes via:

• Email to your registered address
• In-app notifications
• Website notice

Material changes will be effective 30 days after notification. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the platform and may delete your account.
